All good things eventually meet their end and sadly we drew the last names from the hat yesterday for our extended Founding Node lottery. Emails have been sent to winners of 50 devices we added to the production run in response to high demand in the first lottery round.

We used the same process as last time for selection: winners picked at random with a weighting given both by location and by engagement with our community. This is, as before, to help guarantee a spread of devices across the globe and to reward the greatest supporters of our product.

If yours wasn't a name plucked for the winners' list, fret not. We have plans for new devices for homes and businesses set for launch in the coming months – plus myriad other ways to contribute. We'll set aside names of lottery entrants to make sure they are front of queue for further community initiatives.
