Good evening @everyone 👋
This week we’ve been focused on getting CDN ready for release, and everything is on track for launch early next week. We’re super excited to be able to make CDN publicly available again. You’ll be able to see hourly metrics showing content delivery across all regions, and manage your deployment in real time with easy to use and advanced configuration options.
This week saw two releases, with Stargate v2.12.0-255 and Gateway v2.11.1-156 being deployed to mainnet. These updates introduce content delivery usage aggregation, among other things, to the network, preparing the way for next week’s launch.
You may have noticed that our marketing efforts have ramped up recently. If you haven’t, be sure to take a look at our various social media profiles, and if you want to help, feel free to retweet and reshare and repost and tell your friends. We’ve got a great content schedule ahead of us, including today’s video on CDN:

Following next week’s CDN launch, we’ll be getting the account interface repository ready to open source, including instructions on how you can contribute to it, how you can run it on your machines, and how you can make use of the account API, should you wish to spin up services yourself.
And in the spirit of open source software, from which we all benefit so much, we’re taking part in Hacktoberfest this year, the month-long celebration of open-source projects, their maintainers, and the entire community of contributors. Want to learn more about how to participate? Take a look here:

In short, we have marked six public repositories with the #hacktoberfest tag: cli, , , , , and (due to be made public very soon). Feel free to attempt some of the issues in these repositories or, if you have an idea, why not give it a go? Be sure to read the file in each repository and if you need any help, just let us know.
