It's Friday again if you can believe it 🏃‍♂️

A short update this week as we've been focused on two key aspects of the network, both of which represent a huge amount of effort.

First up, we released new versions of CDN, Host, Gateway and Stargate. The updates form a part of our long term security enhancement strategy, obscuring the configuration data for deployments and reducing the size of the payload.

The team have also been migrating existing backbone architecture to better connected locations, work which will continue over the next two weeks. This includes the movement of physical hardware to new partner locations as well as the setup of additional peering arrangements for routing at the top level in the network.

Alongside this research began in to a new approach for handling dynamic data in the network. This is targeted at providing an alternative database solution in a fully decentralised setting. Very early days on this one, but we can see how the theory could executed upon and where it would fit in our roadmaps.
