How Peri Happy runs production with agents
Peri Happy is a nutrition platform for perimenopause and beyond: 550+ evidence-based recipes organised by symptom, an AI planner that builds personalised weekly menus, and a weekly email read by 15,000 women. It's built and run by a tiny team with no dedicated ops.

"We describe what we want and it's live minutes later. The agent deploys, wires up DNS, and keeps watch — we spend our time on recipes and research, not infrastructure."

The Challenge
A media-rich recipe site with an AI planner behind it is a lot of moving parts for a small team: photography-heavy pages that need to load fast worldwide, a compute backend for the Peri Planner, signup and planner endpoints that attract bots and scrapers, and a weekly publishing cadence that leaves no time for infrastructure work. Hiring ops wasn't an option — the infrastructure had to run itself.
The Solution
Peri Happy runs entirely on Edge, deployed and managed through Edge's agentic tooling. Their coding agent connects to Edge over MCP: it deploys the site to the CDN, manages DNS records, provisions and updates the Compute instances behind the Peri Planner, and configures Shield to keep bots off signup and planner endpoints. Edge Labs works alongside the team as a rapid R&D partner, prototyping and shipping improvements to the planner itself.
