Edge Network Edge Shield

Thanks for taking a look.

If you're here, I probably messaged you on LinkedIn. The short version: we built Edge Shield, a CAPTCHA alternative that stops bots without ever showing your real users a puzzle. It's free — genuinely, not free-trial free — and I'm personally onboarding a small group of teams right now.

That means if you want it on your site, I'll set it up with you myself — or our CTO can talk to your CTO: widget config, the two-line embed, server-side verification, whatever your stack needs. Usually takes under half an hour.

Here's the product — it already verified you.

This is the real widget, live on this page. It scored your humanity while you were reading, from signals bots can't fake. No puzzle, no clicking fire hydrants.

Every visitor gets a 1–100 humanity score computed from how they move and type, summarised in the browser. Raw input never leaves their device, and Shield keeps no profile of anyone.

Why teams are switching

No puzzles

Humans see a tick, not a test. Your conversion rate stops paying the CAPTCHA tax.

Privacy-first

No cookies, no profiles, nothing shared with an ad company. GDPR-friendly by design.

Free forever

Unlimited verifications. Shield runs on infrastructure we already operate, so it costs us almost nothing to give away.

Already using reCAPTCHA or Turnstile?

The API is deliberately compatible — the widget and the server-side verify call work the same way, so migration is usually a sitekey swap. And you can run Shield in shadow mode first: it scores your live traffic without blocking anything, so you can compare its decisions against your current setup before switching enforcement on.

Two ways to start

The easy way

Reply to my message

Tell me which site and which forms, and I'll walk you through setup personally — or put our CTO on with yours. A call or async over messages, whichever you prefer. You'll be protected the same day.

Just reply on LinkedIn →

The self-serve way

Set it up yourself

Create a free account, make a widget, paste two lines of code. Most developers are done in under ten minutes — and I'm still one message away if you get stuck.

Create free account

No card required · No sales pipeline · No "book a demo with our AE"

"Free forever"... what's the catch?

Fair question — free security products usually mean you're the product. Our model is simpler: Shield runs on Edge's existing global cloud, so it costs us almost nothing to operate, and it's how developers meet the rest of the platform (CDN, compute, DNS, storage). Some of them will need those things later and already have an account. That's the whole funnel. Your visitors' data is never collected, profiled, or sold — there's deliberately nothing to monetise.

Free forever. Not free-until-you-grow.

Whether you take me up on the onboarding or not — thanks for reading this far. If Shield isn't right for you, I'd still genuinely value hearing why.
