Interface

One widget. Every answer.

Assist is one interface with two modes: instant search as visitors type, and a conversation the moment they ask. Here's the whole thing, component by component — then press ⌘K and try the real one.

The Search View

What visitors see first: results before they finish typing, and a standing offer to turn the query into a question.

1

One box, two jobs

Search and ask share a single input. It opens from the launcher, a search icon, or ⌘K — and it replaces your site search outright.

2

One keypress from search to answer

The top row always offers the question form of what was typed. Hit return and the same words become a grounded AI answer instead of a list of links.

3

Instant results, free forever

Full-text results over your ingested content appear as visitors type — no AI call, no charge, unlimited. Snippets and titles come straight from your pages.

4

Your brand, if you want

Any paid usage removes the badge; white-label goes further with your own assistant name and icon everywhere visitors see it.

The Conversation View

One return-key later. Streamed answers grounded in your content, cited as they're made — with a human one click away.

1

Conversation memory

Follow-ups like "how fast?" resolve against the thread so far. Each surface keeps its own session, and visitors can reopen recent conversations or start fresh.

2

Grounded, streamed answers

Answers stream token by token over SSE and are composed only from your ingested content and pinned facts — no invented prices, no off-site tangents.

3

Citations built in

Claims link inline to the pages they came from, with source chips underneath. Visitors verify in one click — and you see which pages carry your answers.

4

Suggested questions

Configurable prompts (or pre-warmed likely questions) give visitors somewhere to start. Cached answers return instantly.

5

Human handoff

When Assist can't answer — or a visitor wants a person — they leave an email and the whole transcript lands in your inbox. Answers and leads from one widget.

And Everything Around It

The panel is half the story — the other half is how invisibly it fits into your site.

Expanded mode

On desktop the panel expands to full screen with a citations rail: every source from the conversation, plus your "Keep exploring" links.

Made for mobile

Below tablet width the panel fills the viewport — a native-feeling assistant, not a floating card. A hosted page covers apps and link-outs.

Matches your site

Accent colour, launcher position and copy, welcome message, and placeholder are all yours. Styles are isolated in a shadow root — your CSS never leaks in, ours never leaks out.

One line of code

A single script tag, a few kilobytes of dependency-free JavaScript, loaded lazily. No framework, no iframe jank, no impact on your page speed.

Don't take the mockup's word for it

Everything on this page is live on this site right now — the search icon above and the launcher in the corner are the exact widget you'd ship. Press ⌘K and ask it something hard.
