The Examiner

An AI review of your widget's traffic that turns 30 days of metrics into a plain-English assessment — what's healthy, what's under attack, what to tune — with specific fixes. Free on every widget.

Your security analyst, on tap

Analytics tell you what happened. The Examiner tells you what it means — and what to do about it.

Traffic Health

Challenge volumes, solve rates, and verification patterns — explained in terms of what they mean for your site, not raw numbers.

Bot Pressure

How much automation is hitting the widget, whether it's declared (verified agents) or anonymous, and whether it's trending up.

Escalation Calibration

Whether your interactive-confirmation rate suggests genuine suspicious traffic or an over-challenged audience — VPNs, privacy browsers — and what to do about it.

Abuse Signals

Token replays, verification failures, score collapses, and drift anomalies — the traces real attacks leave in aggregate data.

Configuration Fit

Whether your widget mode, verified-agents policy, and hostname allowlist match the traffic you're actually receiving — plus recommended siteverify score thresholds.

Health Score

Every review produces a 0–100 health score with prioritised findings, so you can see at a glance whether anything needs attention.

Three steps, a few seconds

No setup, no configuration. If your widget has traffic, the Examiner has opinions.

1

Open the Examiner tab

Every Shield widget has an Examiner tab in the control panel.

2

Run a review

The analysis covers your last 30 days of traffic and takes a few seconds.

3

Apply the fixes

Findings come with specific recommendations — apply them in Settings or your siteverify handling. Your last ten reviews are saved.

Aggregates only. By architecture.

The Examiner analyses hourly aggregate counters — challenge volumes, solve rates, score averages, abuse counts — plus your widget's configuration. Nothing else exists to analyse.

Shield holds no per-visitor data, so none can be reviewed or shared. That's not a policy decision; it's how the system is built.

Free with every widget

Run reviews as often as you like, on every widget. Like all of Shield, the Examiner is free.
