Happy Friday everyone đź‘‹
How are you all finding locked down life?
It’s been challenging here, but the sun continues to shine which makes it all much more bearable than it otherwise would be.
First up, some updates on the TNC Group Coin, listings and the swap process.
As you know, the token will be listing on the 30th of April. We will be distributing tokens from the 01st of May, which allows plenty of time ahead of the first unlock on the 10th of May. The delay here is due to heavy traffic via support channels and the teams need to ensure the security of the process. We’re almost there.
We are expecting 20 exchanges for launch, with more to follow.
TNC are also going to be locking 90% of all tokens. The exact mechanism for this is to be confirmed, but they will be either frozen or burned, and this will be visible and verifiable by the community.
I also want to take moment to address the concerns raised here about the circulating supply. I’ve spoken to TNCs CEO at length, and can confirm that the absolute maximum supply that can be released in the first month is 1.6%. And with a small group of initial projects on board you really don’t need to worry about large scale circulation. It’s being managed for the protection of value and in support of the long term success of the project.
In other news, the network team have been putting the finishing touches to the new CDN benchmarking, a service that captures the performance capabilities of a device and ensures it is capable of the minimum requirements for applications to function.
The watch service for CLI has been completed, which is due for release next week. The watch method will show real-time stats from Host including successful transactions, errors and cancellations.
Here’s a sneak peak:
The team have also completed the payments and subscription components for API which will sync plans, products and subscriptions with the payment gateway.
And they have been working through the payment and subscription UI adding the required functionality to create cards and to select a subscription plan as part of the CDN setup process.
And that’s it for this week.
Enjoy your weekends.
