Good evening everyone 👋
This week we released a number of features & fixes, along with a new internal service that monitors the performance of the network. The network monitor keeps track of the connection metrics of various request types, images, assets, cached, and uncached, allows us to track the performance of the network under different scenarios and allows us to track the performance impacts of updates.
The repository for this tool is open source, of course, and you can find it here: https://github.com/edge/monitor
Index v1.23.0 was released to mainnet, adding another new API for hourly and daily statistics for all nodes belonging to a wallet. The API also provides metric averages and totals across those nodes, making it simple to visualise both overall and per-node performance.
Gateway v2.9.1-138 was released to mainnet, adding support for query strings in cache paths, plus fixes for some special characters in paths.
Wallet v1.17.0 was released to mainnet, adding charts to the Nodes tab to display your nodes availability and work done - hourly over 24 hours, or daily over 7 or 30 days. There are charts for the average availability, total requests and total data in/out across all your nodes, plus charts for each node’s individual data.
Explorer v1.20.0 was released to mainnet, adding the option to hide released stakes when browsing stakes (pictured). This release also includes some bug fixes and minor design tweaks.
Wallet v1.18.0 was released to mainnet, adding the option to hide released stakes when browsing stakes, similarly to Explorer, plus some bug fixes and minor design tweaks.
