Yesterday we launched the DADI mainnet. Today we give you the chance to be part of the first wave of nodes to join the network as we announce our Founding Node Programme.
The programme is designed in recognition of our earliest and strongest supporters. Being a Founding Node means that you will be one of the select few that lay the foundations for a new, fairer internet. This is no small opportunity. It’s an important moment for us all - and a status that will unlock special benefits over time.
In celebration we’ve created our first dedicated DADI Node: a limited edition Host in a custom case built around a Raspberry Pi, designed and fabricated with our friends at Blond. It’s the result of over four months prototyping and development, culminating in a unique glass and silicone structure with an exposed circuit board that’ll look at home in house or office alike:
But the best news is we’ll be giving the entire limited production run away for free to our community. Yes, you read that right.
We’ve saved 50 units to be given to our partners and to supporting publications. And today we begin taking applications for the first 100 to be posted to the DADI community all of the world.
To be in with a chance of receiving one of these very special devices, head to dadi.cloud and sign up.
Don’t forget to provide your community details. We’ll be selecting randomly by lottery from proven community members, with a weighting based on the age of the account (how long you have been a supporter of the DADI project).
Still here? Get over to dadi.cloud to sign up.
PS: this is first of a series of devices that we have in development :)
