Edge Network Partner With BLOCKv: Unlocking True Decentralization For The Largest Web3 Enterprise Layer

Today, Edge Network is partnering with BLOCKv, the most widely adopted Web3 enterprise layer, used by some of the world’s largest brands. Through this partnership, Edge will power key infrastructure elements of BLOCKv, bringing fully decentralized cloud services to enterprise-scale Web3 applications.

Over a decade ago, we set out to solve a problem that few were thinking about at the time — how to decentralize cloud computing without sacrificing the performance and reliability that enterprises demand. The cloud had become dominated by a handful of centralized providers, creating a landscape where cost inefficiencies, vendor lock-in, and single points of failure became the norm.

We knew that if Web3 was ever going to reach mainstream adoption, it needed infrastructure that could compete with traditional cloud providers — not just in ideology, but in real-world performance.

So we built Edge Network, the first fully decentralized cloud platform, offering the entire stack of services an enterprise needs — from compute, storage, and content delivery to security, networking, and AI inference. A cloud capable of replacing conventional platforms like AWS across organizations.

Unlike other decentralized infrastructure projects that remain limited in scope, Edge Network is a full-scale enterprise cloud — one that can support mission-critical applications, high-traffic workloads, and global deployments.

Over the years, we built a vast network and strong relationships with firms across London and beyond. BLOCKv has been no exception. Our paths first crossed more than five years ago, during the early days of Web3 infrastructure development. From industry events to strategic discussions, we found ourselves aligned in one critical vision — scaling Web3 beyond experimentation and into real enterprise adoption.

Now, we are taking that vision further, together.

🔗BLOCKv: The Web3 OS Powering Enterprise Adoption

While many Web3 projects focus on theoretical applications, BLOCKv has spent years proving that Web3 can work at an enterprise level.

As the most widely adopted Web3 enterprise stack, BLOCKv has powered digital experiences for some of the biggest global brands. Their Web3 Operating System (OS) allows businesses to create interactive, scalable, and programmable SmartNFTs, driving real user engagement while maintaining the core principles of Web3.

With over 50 million SmartNFTs created and 11 million unique wallets, BLOCKv has already demonstrated Web3’s ability to scale — handling high-volume transactions for enterprise customers while keeping the user experience frictionless.

🔗Bringing Edge Network’s Enterprise-Grade Cloud to BLOCKv

Through this partnership, BLOCKv is integrating Edge Storage, Edge CDN, and Edge AI to remove centralized dependencies from its Web3 OS — ensuring that Web3 applications and SmartNFTs can be fully decentralized without sacrificing enterprise performance.

The first step in this integration is moving BLOCKv’s SmartNFT storage to Edge Network. SmartNFTs require storage for high-quality visual assets, 3D models, videos, and interactive layers, none of which can be stored on-chain. By shifting these workloads to Edge Storage, BLOCKv ensures that its assets remain decentralized, resilient, and scalable, without the limitations of traditional cloud providers.

Beyond storage, BLOCKv is implementing Edge CDN to optimize content delivery for SmartNFTs worldwide. Whether it’s a global brand running a high-profile Web3 campaign or a developer building an NFT-based application, Edge’s decentralized content delivery will ensure seamless user experiences without the bottlenecks of centralized cloud services.

Another major aspect of this partnership is the integration of Edge AI Inference. As BLOCKv pushes forward with AI-powered SmartNFTs, ensuring that AI workloads remain decentralized is critical. With Edge AI, SmartNFTs will be able to access AI-driven enhancements, generative capabilities, and contextual intelligence, all processed natively on the Edge Network, rather than relying on centralized AI providers.

By integrating across storage, delivery, and compute, this partnership ensures that BLOCKv can scale Web3 applications for enterprise use without compromising on decentralization.

🔗Closing Thoughts

This partnership is a natural evolution of two projects that have been building toward the same vision for years.

Over the past decade, BLOCKv and Edge Network have crossed paths multiple times, from London to global industry events. Both teams have been pushing the boundaries of enterprise adoption while staying true to the principles of decentralization and digital ownership.

Now, this partnership represents the next step in that journey — bringing together Edge’s decentralized cloud infrastructure and BLOCKv’s Web3 OS to create an enterprise-ready Web3 ecosystem.

BLOCKv has already achieved what most Web3 projects only aspire to: real-world adoption at Fortune 500 scale. Edge Network has built the only fully decentralized, enterprise-ready cloud capable of supporting Web3 adoption at this level.
