Since 2013, we’ve been working to transform how cloud computing works. At Edge, we believe the future lies in decentralization — a model where power, data, and opportunity are shared, not controlled by a handful of companies. That’s why we’ve created the Supercloud, the first complete decentralized alternative to traditional cloud platforms.

This year is going to be an important one for Edge. We’re rolling out new tools and updates that will make our platform more accessible, powerful, and reliable than ever before. Whether you’re a developer, a business, or someone exploring decentralized technology for the first time, there’s something here for everyone.

Let’s break down the most important releases coming in Q1 and Q2.

🔗First Quarter 2025

The first quarter is all about setting the stage. We’re launching several products and features that make it easier for users to join and benefit from the Edge ecosystem while improving the tools that already exist.

🔗Web3 Website

We will be introducing our redesigned Web3 website, which will replace our current platform. Featuring a modern, intuitive interface, this site is being designed to showcase the breadth of the Supercloud ecosystem. From advanced network capabilities to the $EDGE token’s unique functionality, the site will offer a comprehensive view of Edge’s offerings.

Powered entirely by Edge’s infrastructure, the website will exemplify the Supercloud’s core principles of decentralization, speed, and user-centric design, aiming to serve as a gateway for users to explore the Supercloud.

🔗Web3 Onboarding

In 2025, we will be doubling down on expanding the Supercloud ecosystem by onboarding Web3 projects. Strengthened partnerships and active engagement at industry events will play a central role in introducing the benefits of Edge to a broader audience. By fostering collaboration and innovation within Web3 communities, we aim to build a thriving, interconnected ecosystem.

🔗EDGE Tokenomics 2.0

Enhancements to $EDGE tokenomics are being introduced to increase utility, stability, and value. Central to this update will be a real-time buyback system, replacing the current retrospective model.

We will also be introducing new use cases, including locking $EDGE on the XE Chain and enabling “Pay As You Go” payment streaming.

To ensure sustainability, we are partnering with a leading digital economics firm for a thorough audit and strategic guidance, further reinforcing $EDGE as the cornerstone of the Supercloud ecosystem.

🔗EDGE Listing on CEXs

Historically, the $EDGE token has primarily been traded and accessed through decentralized exchanges, aligning perfectly with Edge’s ethos of decentralization.

However, to further increase the reach of our ecosystem and make $EDGE more accessible, we will be proceeding with listings on several centralized exchanges throughout the entire year.

These efforts will target both Tier 1 and Tier 2 exchanges, broadening our community and increasing token liquidity while retaining the core values of the Supercloud.

🔗Ambassador Program

We will launch an Ambassador Program to engage passionate community members and foster greater collaboration. This program will be open to individuals who support the project as well as developers utilizing the Edge Compute Infrastructure to benefit the ecosystem.

Rewards will be based on the authentic reach and effort put into each contribution, encouraging participants to share real advantages of Edge rather than focusing strictly on aspects like token growth.

Ambassadors will have opportunities to actively participate in community discussions, create valuable content such as posts, articles, videos, host virtual and physical events, represent their regions, and collaborate with other ambassadors through regular meet-ups. This initiative will strengthen community ties and expand awareness of Edge’s mission.

🔗Edge GPU Marketplace | Alpha

Edge GPU Marketplace is a decentralized computing platform enabling developers to rent GPU capacity for machine learning, rendering, and AI workloads. The system will distribute containerized workloads across Edge nodes that will accept compute requests, with pricing and availability managed centrally through Edge’s orchestration layer.

The platform will use a native runtime environment optimized for GPU compute workloads, with built-in monitoring for utilization and performance metrics. Resource allocation will happen through Edge’s scheduling system, which manages payments and workload distribution based on network demand and node availability.

The marketplace will include automatic benchmarking of nodes, real-time performance monitoring, and comprehensive usage analytics. And a command-line interface and REST API will programmatic access for integration into existing development workflows.

🔗Edge DeAI Inference | Alpha

Artificial intelligence is becoming more important every day, and our DeAI Inference platform will make it easier for developers to incorporate it into their projects.

Edge DeAI Inference will provide instant access to a variety of different models such as large language models, image generation models, speech recognition and more, through both chat interfaces and API endpoints. The service will deploy dedicated model instances on Edge nodes, with automatic scaling and load balancing. With privacy being maintained through ephemeral instances and zero-logging policies.

Users will be able to specify their desired model configuration and receive immediate access credentials. The service will support major open-source models and will be able to also integrate private model weights. While making sure that all processing happening on Edge infrastructure with no third-party dependencies.

🔗Edge Host | Version 3

Edge Host is being rewritten in Rust to reduce binary size, lower system requirements, and improve cross-platform compatibility. The refactored client maintains support for Edge network services (such as CDN, storage and GPU), while introducing more robust workload isolation and enhanced security features. Key improvements include optimized resource management, faster startup times, and reduced memory footprint for resource-constrained devices.

🔗Edge VPN | Beta

Edge VPN will provide on-demand OpenVPN servers deployed across the Edge network. The service creates dedicated VPN instances for individuals or teams, with automated server provisioning and configuration management. Users will be able to select server locations based on network latency and load, with instant scaling as demand changes.

The service will handle key management, access control, and usage monitoring through Edge’s control plane. Integration with existing authentication systems will enable team-wide VPN access with granular permissions.

With CLI tools and API endpoints allowing programmatic control of VPN resources, supporting integration into development and deployment workflows.

🔗Edge Shield | Beta

Edge Shield will provideDDoS protection and DNS management through a distributed network layer. Features will include traffic filtering, rate limiting, and customizable security rules. The service will integrate with Edge’s infrastructure for instant mitigation of attacks and real-time traffic analysis.

Users will be able to manage DNS records and security policies through CLI tools or API endpoints. The platform will include detailed logging and analytics for threat detection and network optimization.

🔗Edge Storage | Beta

Edge Storage fragments files into encrypted shards that are redundantly distributed across the network. The system combines client-side encryption, erasure coding, and intelligent routing to achieve data durability without compromising access speeds.

Files are encrypted before leaving the client, split into hundreds of pieces, and distributed to optimize for both geographic redundancy and retrieval performance. The platform includes granular access controls.

CLI tools and API endpoints enable integration with existing storage workflows. Data placement and retrieval are automatically optimized based on access patterns and network conditions.

🔗Edge Marketplace | Beta

Edge Marketplace provides one-click deployment of crypto nodes and common application stacks across the Edge network. Users select from pre-configured templates, including full blockchain nodes, mining software, and web applications like WordPress, with automated setup and configuration.

Templates are verified and maintained by Edge, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance across the network.

CLI and API access enable automated deployments and management, with usage-based pricing and the ability to scale on-demand.

🔗Edge AI Agent | PoC

As part of our work on the AI Agent Platform, which will offer a complete toolkit for building, managing, and monetizing AI agents, we’ll be releasing our first agent built on an early version of this stack to showcase its initial capabilities.

Powered entirely by the Edge Supercloud.

🔗Edge Deploy | Beta

App deployment doesn’t have to be complicated. Edge Deploy is a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that will empower users to launch and manage their applications on the Supercloud effortlessly.

With features like one-click deployment, built-in scalability, automated environment management, and seamless integration with existing development workflows, it will provide an intuitive and robust experience for developers of all skill levels.

By simplifying the deployment process, Edge Deploy will enable more individuals and organizations to take full advantage of decentralized hosting while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

🔗Edge Functions | Alpha

Edge Functions will provide serverless code execution at network edge locations. The service will support automatic scaling and load balancing across Edge nodes. Functions will be be triggerable by HTTPS requests, scheduled events, or other Edge services.

Deployment will be possible through CLI tools or API endpoints, with support for environment variables and secrets management. And the platform will include logging, monitoring, and debugging capabilities.

Edge Functions will let developers run serverless code without the need for complex setups. Fast, scalable solution that takes care of infrastructure management, so you can focus entirely on your application’s functionality.

🔗Enterprise Expansions

We are doubling down on our efforts to attract and partner with more enterprises by introducing new features and tools tailored specifically to their needs, with several more integrations already in the works.

🔗Second Quarter 2025

With the groundwork laid in Q1, the second quarter will be about expanding the Supercloud’s reach and capabilities. From new payment options to sustainability initiatives, here’s what’s next.

🔗Node One

Node One is a high-performance Edge network device, designed to operate Edge services while earning XE. The Red Dot award-winning case features minimalist aesthetics with an illuminated status ring, precision-milled construction, and passive cooling for silent operation.

Pre-configured for immediate network participation, Node One runs all Edge services including storage, CDN, and compute workloads. The device optimizes power consumption and network connectivity while maintaining enterprise-grade security standards.

The aim is to launch the waitlist/preorder in the second quarter, with production and public launch coming following that.

🔗Cross-Chain XE Payments & Swaps

We’re working on a groundbreaking system powered by a combination of external bridges, DEX platforms, and XE’s own bridge. This system will make it seamless for users to transition from any blockchain and cryptocurrency to XE, all in just one or a few steps.

This innovation opens up new use cases, such as enabling users to pay for services with any chain (e.g., Solana) and any currency (e.g., USDC), with payments bridged directly to their self-custodial wallet associated with their cloud account to pay for services on the Supercloud.

This process is designed to be fully completely transparent, with no third-party intermediaries involved — ensuring it remains fully decentralized.

Additionally, this system will provide a straightforward onboarding process into the XE ecosystem, unlocking the potential for further use cases and applications to be developed in the future.

🔗Carbon Offsetting

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’re developing tools to calculate an estimated carbon footprint of the network’s usage.

This initiative will allow Edge as a network, as well as individual companies, to fully offset their carbon impact.

While Edge is already much greener than traditional alternatives thanks to its utilization of unused resources across the world, these tools will make it possible to achieve carbon neutrality — or even become carbon positive.

🔗XE Chain Enterprise

As part of these efforts, we’re implementing various compliance, financial, and reliability standards to ensure that XE is not only suitable but highly attractive for enterprise adoption.

These updates will drive further adoption of our custom-developed chain and unlock new opportunities for businesses.

🔗Edge AI Agent Platform | Beta

The Edge AI Agent Platform will empower developers to build and monetize autonomous agents across a multitude of use cases, leveraging cloud-native features such as real-time compute provisioning, decentralized execution, and automated workload management.

By providing seamless access to Edge’s decentralized network, agents will independently evaluate, acquire, and manage compute resources, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. And it will also support ways of self-sustaining monetization, which will allow for the agents to be able to sustainably pay for their own cloud compute.

🔗Edge Card

We see Edge Network, and consequently $EDGE (XE), as the foundation of an entire ecosystem powering the new decentralized internet.

The Edge Card bridges the gap between the decentralized and traditional world, allowing you to spend $EDGE (XE) seamlessly wherever Mastercard is accepted — whether you’re using it on-line or in the real world.

Edge Card will be integrated within the native Edge (XE) Wallet, with the option of automatic top-ups from the native XE chain.

We’re aiming to open a waitlist for the card during the second quarter, with a public launch planned later this year, marking another step toward making decentralized payments part of everyday life.
