We had an AMA today, so I’ll keep today’s weekly wrap short!

Arthur wrote two brilliant deep dive articles on the network, that you really should read.

🔗1. Scaling the Edge

As part of our commitment to providing deeper insight in to the technology of the Edge network, Arthur Mingard discusses the migration from a single global VPC approach to network architecture to one of interconnecting VPCs.

🔗2. Edge storage deep dive

The decentralised web puts computational power and storage right at the edge, enabling hyper-localised caching and fault-tolerant object storage. The primary focus of the network’s latest development round was Edge Storage. As Edge storage moves on to Mainnet for live testing, Arthur Mingard takes look at what’s happening under the hood.

🔗Internal updates

Eduardo, Josh, James and Dave moved the network explorer to the point of being ready for a first public release. It will go live next week, much sooner than originally planned, and will be iterated on from there.

We have been ploughing through development work for the new customer win, which I announced last week. It’s an app, that is being powered by the API, and run from the network.

Paul Kingsley secured sign on off from the UK’s largest publishing association for the move of their website to our technology, which will also see it move in to the network 💥

We’ve been working with an exciting startup in the sporting space, which is a full stack development in our tech that we hope to be kicking off in the near future. More details as soon as we get clearance to speak about it.

Chris met with a business in education with a very exciting proposition. They want to bring their platform to the network.

Paul submitted a proposal for the development of the technology stack for a racing series on our network.

The Foundation interviewed Luminate (https://luminategroup.com/) for the research project that they are undertaking.

Luminate was founded by Pierre and Pam Omidyar. Pierre is the founder of eBay.

And of course, you should all read the AMA! The transcript will be posted soon!

And that’s it for this week. Have a good weekend X
